PRIVACY & COOKIES
Clear, simple privacy for local pickup orders.
Last updated: 26 June 2026
Worongary News collects only the information we need to run local pickup orders, reply to enquiries and keep the website working safely.
Information we collect
- Your name and email address when you place an order.
- Your order details, payment method and pickup status.
- Your name, contact details and message when you send an enquiry or newspaper hold request.
- Basic website activity, such as page visits, so we can understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
We use this information to confirm orders, keep requested newspapers, send pickup updates, respond to enquiries, manage stock, improve the website and keep business records.
Payments and email
Online card payments are handled by SumUp. We do not store your card details on this website. Order and enquiry emails are sent through our email service provider so we can send confirmations and updates reliably.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage items:
- Essential session cookies keep the admin area secure and let customers view their order history after entering an email code.
- Shopping cart storage keeps items in your bag while you browse.
- Optional remembered details store your name and email on this device only if you tick “Remember my name and email” at checkout.
- Website activity storage helps us count visits without using third-party advertising or remarketing cookies.
Your choices
You can choose not to tick the remembered-details option at checkout. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time. Clearing site data may remove your saved cart, remembered checkout details and order-viewing session.
